Relaxing Facial Muscles

Allowing your relaxation to proceed, and continuing to breathe, now tense your scalp and facial muscles.
The scalp muscles, and facial muscles, and your eyelids are tensed, as you continue to breathe.
Study the tension in your scalp, and in your face, and in your eyelids.
And now relax and take a deep and refreshing breath. Exhale your mantra. Continue to breathe comfortably. Continue to relax. Enjoy the relaxation.
Now tense your scalp muscles, and your facial muscles and your eyelids once again. All of these muscles are tense.
Study the tension in your scalp, and in your face, and in your eyelids.
And now let go of the tension. Relax and take a deep and refreshing breath.
Allow the tension that was in your scalp, and face, and eyelids to leave, and enjoy the contrast. Allow the muscles to feel heavy. Allow your eyelids to be gently closed. Fluttering of the eyelids allows you to go more deeply into a state of complete relaxation.
