The public can be assured that the professionals listed in this directory have seriously pursued advanced training to provide the EPIC Lift Capacity test, recognized as the gold standard in functional capacity evaluation tests of lift capacity.
In order to be listed, each professional invested more than 50 hours in formal study, training and practice beyond the usual professional preparation.
Each professional passed a written test of knowledge about functional capacity evaluation and the EPIC Lift Capacity test.
Finally, each professional submitted data for review obtained during practice on five healthy normal volunteers that describes their ELC test performance, on a test and retest basis.
There is no more rigorous training and certification procedure available for lift capacity tests in the field of rehabilitation.
